The Bottom Line: This product is very similar to the other 2 we're rating on his site. It and it ranks far above the other products we tried that did not make our list of favorites. The instructions are easy enough to follow and nothing is left out. No real video support though, which as we mentioned before is a real "nice to have".

This product comes in the form of a single ebook. It has all the usual information for building the projects, finding parts, hooking up your system, etc.
As with the other two, it includes options for sizing your system based on your individual needs.
We couldn't help but wonder whether this program would have been as easy to follow if we hadn't already worked with the power4home project, but overall the instructions seems adequate and are nicely illustrated..
There is no video. While its not a deal breaker, we have become spoiled by the top rated product, and for the same price, the video is really nice to have.
BONUS MATERIAL: Includes 2 bonus ebooks. The first is Planning and Installing Bio Energy Systems and is basically a next steps guide to full blown home energy independence. A lot of the information is included in the materials provided by the other 2 reviewed products. The second bonus ebook is called "Renewable Energy Technology" and is while an interesting read, is more informational than it is instructional.

SUPPORT: There is no real support program offered, however just like the other 2 products, they do provide buyers with lifetime access to any updates made ot the product after sale.
While conducting our reviews, we looked only for products that would give the user the ability to build a solar panel or wind turbine for about $200. In addition the product had to teach you everything you would need to complete the project from start to finish, including connecting the system. The instructions had to be clear and written in a way that a person with reasonable DIY project skills could follow them, and there had to be some indication of post-sale support for questions.
We wanted to consider only products that featured instant access via immediate download, a secure ordering process and a solid, no questions asked 60 day minimum guarantee. This product met all our criteria. The Energy2Green guide met all these criteria and is a very solid product for helping you build your own system.
