Review Of the Power4home Guide
Welcome to our Power4home review. We really like this guide and you'll see why below.
Home wind and solar power systems have been on the market for years. These systems work great but are extremely expensive with very small, limited capacity systems starting at $3000 or more - which is probably why this technology isn’t more commonly used.
DIY solutions are becoming a great alternative for those with a little bit of experience using basic tools. The systems are inexpensive and reliable and as with most DIY type projects, you save a lot of money compared to having it done professionally.
In fact, these can pay for themselves in energy cost savings in as little as 2 months. When compared to the 20 years that most professionally installed systems take to recoup the owner’s investment, this option becomes quite compelling. It has to be noted though that there is a lot of junk on the market. All products in this category are definitely not equal.
Power4Home is one of our favorites.

Our Review: They certainly don’t have the flashiest website among the group, but we found everything about this product excellent. Easy to follow, fully illustrated manuals that explain everything in complete detail. It includes 3 ebooks - How to build super efficient solar panels, How to Install the system, How to build a high power wind generator The product was created by an actual electrician and it shows in the finished product.
Most importantly, there is an extensive video library available that really helps you understand and follow the instructions It makes solar panel and home wind turbine build projects very easy. Speaking for us, when we’re messing with electrical stuff we don’t want to be wondering whether or not we misinterpreted something. The videos really help to reduce that concern.
If you want to build a system that stores energy the authors reveal how to get batteries for free.
There is a lot of extra, but valuable information included in the manuals. For example, how to stop household electronic devices from steal electricity while they're off, the correct way to install your system for maximum power output, how to get solar panels and wind generators for free. It also does a good job of covering maintenance issues and procedures for once your project is completed. One more point. This thing is available in 9 languages - English Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French, Japanese, Chinese, Russian and German - which we thought was really cool. However, we don’t know (and doubt) whether the videos are also available in all these languages.
BONUS MATERIALS, How to turn Power4home into a small business, Exclusive Parts Suppliers List, 83 Ways to reduce home energy needs, Advanced Power Saving Techonologies, IRS Tax Rebate forms.
SUPPORT: Includes Lifetime Support Membership. They answer all questions promptly and thoroughly. We got the impression that they were really interesting in helping.
While conducting our reviews, we looked only for products that would give the user the ability to build a solar panel or wind turbine for about $200. In addition the product had to teach you everything you would need to complete the project from start to finish, including connecting the system. The instructions had to be clear and written in a way that a person with reasonable DIY project skills could follow them, and there had to be some indication of post-sale support for questions.
We wanted to consider only products that featured instant access via immediate download, a secure ordering process and a solid, no questions asked 60 day minimum guarantee. This product met and in fact, exceeds all of our requirements.
The Power4home system allows you to size your project based on your individual situation. You can start as small as you want and work your way up to a full blown system that actually sell excess power back to your local utility.
